1. Who we are

SayCartoon operates the website saycartoon.com. The service turns text you write into a drawn, animated video, with narration, music, and background sounds.

2. The service

You write a story, and you can add a hero, extra characters, an illustration style, and a narrator voice. A short video is created from the text, usually about 30 seconds. The SayCartoon logo appears on the video.

Creation is done with artificial-intelligence models. The video may come out different from what you imagined: a character, colour, movement, or wording that does not match the text exactly. There is no promise that the result will be accurate, unique, or suitable for commercial broadcast.

3. Who may use it

The service is for adults who create content, even when the video itself is meant for children. Anyone who signs in or uploads a photo states that they are an adult, and that they have permission to use what they send.

4. Account

Sign-in is with a phone number. We send a code by SMS, and the code is valid for a short time. After several wrong attempts, sign-in is locked for a while. Sign-in is kept in a browser cookie for about 30 days, until you sign out.

You are responsible for the number you entered. On a shared device, sign out when you finish.

5. Your content

The text, names, descriptions, and photos you send remain yours. You confirm that you have the right to use them, and that they do not harm another person or someone else's right.

You give us a licence to use the content only to run the service: to write, draw, animate, narrate, and store the video created for you. We do not sell your story, and we do not publish it as an example without permission.

6. Photos, especially photos of children

An uploaded photo is used only to draw an illustrated character that resembles the person, animal, or object in the photo. The photograph itself does not appear in the video.

A photo of a child may be uploaded only if you are the parent or guardian, and only after you have marked that explicitly. Without that mark, creation with the photo will not start.

The photo is sent to a model that draws the character, for that creation. We do not keep the original photo file after processing. What is kept is the illustrated video.

7. The video that is created

You may download the video, watch it, and share it for personal and family use. Commercial, advertising, or institutional use needs permission in advance.

The SayCartoon logo stays on the video. Do not remove it and present the video as if it was made somewhere else.

Videos for different people can come out similar, because they are made with the same tools.

8. Our property

The name SayCartoon, the logo, the site design, and the way the service works are ours. Do not copy them or use them without permission.

9. Prohibited use

Do not upload, and do not ask for, content that:

• is sexual, very violent, or frightening in a way that is not suitable for children
• includes sexual exploitation of minors, in any form
• incites, is racist, or harms a person
• infringes copyright, a trademark, or privacy, including protected characters and photos of people without permission
• impersonates a real person without their consent
• is meant to deceive, harass, or bypass the service

We may refuse to create a video, delete it, or block an account if the use breaks these terms.

10. Price and availability

At this stage the service may be given without payment, as a trial. If payment is added, the price will be shown before you are charged, and only an explicit confirmation will bind you.

The service depends on external tools. It can be slow, fail, or be unavailable. There is no promise of continuous availability or of a particular creation time.

11. Liability

The service is provided as it is. We are not liable for damage caused by relying on the video, by content that was created, or by an interruption of the service, beyond what Israeli law requires. Nothing here takes away a right that cannot be waived under the Consumer Protection Law.

12. Privacy

Only what is needed to run the service is kept:

• a phone number, to identify the account and send a sign-in code
• the verification code, stored encrypted and for a short time
• a sign-in cookie in the browser
• the text and character details you sent, for the creation
• the video that was created, so you can download it

The code is sent by SMS through a messaging provider. The text, descriptions, and photos are processed by artificial-intelligence providers that write, draw, animate, and narrate. The files are stored in cloud storage. Some of the processing and storage is done by providers outside Israel.

The waitlist form on the site shows a confirmation on the screen. At this stage the email address is not stored by us.

You can ask for deletion of the account or of a video. We will delete what can be deleted, except what the law requires us to keep.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the date of the last update. Continued use after an update is agreement to the new text.

14. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Israel. The courts in Israel have jurisdiction. The Hebrew text is the binding version.
